After ‘Delhi-6’ it will be the second venture for the pair Sonam Kapoor And Abhishek Bachchan on screen if they ply to work together for ‘Kaifi and I’ love story written by renowned writer Shaukat Kaifi Azmi.

 

Moreover, it will be a pleasure for Azmi who would like to opt the pair in ‘Kaifi and I’ story which she want to be filmed. She stated, "Abhishek Bachchan should play Kaifi's role and Sonam Kapoor should play my character."

 

It is about a love story, which exactly speaks about Azmi and her husband Kaif Azmi's love story. In this regard Azmi stated, "I will be very happy if my book is transformed into a film... The love story which has been described between me and Kaif Azmi, the way we spent life happily even in extreme poverty, would make a good film."  

 

‘Kaifi and I’ is a translation from the original version ‘Yaad Ki Rehguzar’ that was written in Urdu. Nasreen Rehman did the translation for Azmi’s story ‘Kaifi and I.’

 

Her story is gaining popularity and getting translated in several languages, Azmi states, " 'Kaifi and I' is book on my life and I have written exactly how I have spent my life. I haven't exaggerated or made-up any story while writing the book. May be that's why it's gaining popularity and getting translated in several languages like Japanese, Marathi, Hindi and now in English."

 

Well it will be nice to see another love story with the pair starring in ‘Kaifi and I’.
