Bollywood’s power couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai will be attending the 83rd Annual Academy Awards on Sunday, as revealed by Amitabh Bachchan. The proud father of Abhishek wrote on his blog that the pair who is currently in Los Angeles has been invited to attend the prestigious ceremony.
"Ya, Abhishek and Aishwarya have been invited by the Academy to attend the Oscars on Sunday ... so ... (sic)," Amitabh wrote on his blog.
Abhi and Ash are in LA to spend quality time with each other after the actor had a hectic schedule filming ‘Players’ in New Zealand. Meanwhile Big B also revealed that incidentally Abhishek met American actor Warren Beatty at a store.
"Oh! And incidentally they were getting fitted at a clothes store, for the Oscars Award ceremony for Sunday - Warren and Abhishek!" added Amitabh.
Well, the star couple is not the only one to attend the ceremony from Bollywood fraternity as once Oscar-nominated filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker will also be attending the event.
On the other hand, it is going to be a big day for music composer A.R. Rahman as he has been nominated in two categories. Rahman will be competing in original score category for Danny Boyle's 127 Hours and for the original song If I Rise from the same flick.
