Abhishek Bachchan is fulfilling all the duties of a good husband as at a recent award function he accepted the award on her behalf.
Aishwarya Rai was not able to make it for India Today Woman Summit because she is down with fever and severe throat infection. But her hubby Abhishek Bachchan joined the event to fill Aishwarya's place.

Amitabh Bachchan recently informed about the condition of the actress."Aishwarya had a restful day and there seems to be a slight improvement in her condition,” he said.
Amitabh Bachchan added, "The swelling inside the mouth below the tonsil is not tonsillitis as was presumed. It is something else and that is worrying. When you cannot swallow water even, it is more worrying. But today the antibiotics seem to be working and there is some relief. The infection abates. The rash and swelling on the face reduces. She has been able to take in some liquids, but her speech is still laboured."
