The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) ahs expressed its doubt that the twin murder of Aarushi Talwar and the domestic help Hemraj was the handiwork of one person. According to the CBI it is very likely that at least two people were involved in the murdering. The CBI pointed out that there were three glasses and a bottle of whisky in the room of Hemraj and further claimed that the killer had gained a friendly entry in the house.
The CBI took two more days of custody of Dr Rajesh Talwar, the prime accuse in the murders, to enable the agency to question him further. It is also likely that Dr Talwar may be made to undergo narco-analysis analysis and polygraph test. The theory of death due to slitting of throat was also ruled out by the forensic experts. They were of the opinion that Aarushi died with the first hit on her head while Hemraj died on the second hit.
