Aamir’s Tribute To Asheem From Indian Ocean Aamir Khan

Aamir paid tribute to one of the members of the Indian Ocean band, Asheem Chakravarty at the music launch event of ‘Peepli Live’. Asheem passed away recently and his last creation was ‘Zindagi Se Darte’.

Indian Ocean band has composed music for Aamir’s ‘Peepli Live’ and since one of the members of the band, Asheem passed away, so everyone felt  the obvious sadness in the air and Aamir expressed his gratitude towards him.

In Asheem’s remembrance, the Indian Ocean band gave a memorable performance on the music launch stage. Even Aamir is a great fan of the band and he feels that they form one of the most fantastic composers.

He added, “I have been a fan of Indian Ocean for quite a few years now and when Anusha (Rizvi) told me that she wants to work with Indian Ocean in this film they are fantastic composers and their mix of folk and western is really amazing and I think both these songs Desh Mera and Zindagi Se Darte are really amazing songs.”
