‘Peepli Live’ was shot in the village of Bhadwai in Madhya Pradesh. After several sessions of shooting in the place, the villagers of the place (who have acted in the movie) have requested Aamir to start an acting school now for their children.
The request has been forwarded to the co-director of ‘Peepli Live’, Mahmood Farooqui.
Before Aamir and director Anusha Rizvi could start shooting for the film in Bhadwai. The co-director of the film, Mahmood made a 15 minute short film along with the casting members of the film. Later, the film was shown to the Sarpanch or the head of the village.
The co-director of the film also assured the head of the village that the movie will be picturized without any show-biz and in the most non-invasive way as possible.
When the village head and the casting members of the film attended the music launch of the movie, the idea of having an acting school for the children of the villagers came up.
A source reveals, “The villagers' request surprised Aamir. However, he realized their request was genuine and that the children were keen on learning the nuances of film making.”
To this Farooqui added, “Yes, Aamir Khan Productions has informed me of this request. We would love to have an acting school for the kids. I will definitely work on this with them."
The movie is set to release on August 11 and the world-wide promotions for the film are going on.
