To promote the young, vibrant and dynamic India on the global stage, the Tourism Ministry has roped in actor Aamir Khan to be the face of its multi-pronged campaign Incredible India. The Incredible India is a multi-million dollar media campaign created to inform the tourists across the globe about its inviting, rich and vibrant heritage and culture.  

As the face of the Tourism Ministry’s Incredible India campaign, Aamir Khan now will assist in spreading this message across. The actor met the Tourism Minister Ms Ambika Soni personally recently in New Delhi to accept this offer. ‘I have accepted the invitation and am very happy to be part of it. It is a wonderful country and incredible is the fitting word for it,’ said Khan.

One hears that Aamir Khan has undertaken this initiative absolutely free of cost. The Indian Tourism Ministry, however, is yet to make up its mind about exactly what type of promotion campaign it will take up next year. As an indication, the tourism minister said that they will be introducing an ad campaign and a road show to promote India abroad.
