Bollywood actors Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan have been nominated for the best actor award at the AXN Action Awards. Aamir Khan got nominated for his role in 'Ghajini' while Akshay and Hrithik are in contention for 'Tashan' and 'Jodhaa Akbar' respectively.
Commenting on his nomination for the AXN award, the Perfectionist said that he is very honoured to get nominated in the action actor category. Aamir stated that in 'Ghajini' he had to deliver lots of aggression in order to expose the basic crude emotion of human loss. According to him, action is essential part of a movie and film Ghajini's action stunts are more complex and thought provoking which showcase anger, vengeance and physical violence.
Other actors like Imran Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Kay Kay Menon are in race for the best actor award in a negative role. Imran has nominated for his villainous role in 'Kidnap' while Saif Ali Khan for 'Race' and Kay Kay Menon for 'Drona'. Speaking about his role in 'Race', Khan said that he had enjoyed performing action stunts and is very excited to get nominate for AXN Action Awards. The winners of the different categories will be decided through public voting.
