Oscar winner A R Rahman will be performing at the International Space Station along with Indian environmentalist Vandana Shiva, with other performers from across the globe.
Guy Laliberte, the circus entrepreneur, will be the host of the two-hour show, which is being held to stress on issues related to global water shortages.
The ‘Poetic Social Mission’ will have a poet reading out a part of a poem followed by the performance of a musical or artist. These will emphasize the need for clean water for all.
Shiva will be reading out a section following which Rahman will perform in Mumbai.
The show will be aired live on the website of Laliberte’s water charity ‘One Drop’.
