Shaniqua Tompkins, ex-girlfriend of American rapper 50 Cent or Curtis James Jackson III has accused him of trying to kill her and their 10 year old son. Tompkins has stated that the singer tried to kill them in a fire, which has burned his mansion to the ground. Shaniqua has held 50 Cent responsible for the fire as they had a fight about the house a few days before the fire. The rapper had apparently been trying to get her evicted.
Tompkins and Jackson had reportedly got involved in a violent dispute owing to a $50 million lawsuit, she is bringing against him. In her lawsuit, Tompkins has claimed that 50 Cent promised to give her a portion of the money he had earned as a rap star, and had also promised her to have the home that was burnt in the fire on Friday. The In Da Club star has however denied the allegations and has claimed that he was filming in Louisiana when the fire broke out on Friday, May 30.
Shaniqua has revealed to the police that they were firebombed with a ‘Molotov Cocktail’. The fire officials taking clue from that have confirmed that the blaze was definitely suspicious and they have started a probe into this. Larry Feld, Dix Hills Fire chief also remarked that the fire was definitely suspicious as is clear from the volume of the fire and how fast it spread. The $2.4 million house was completely charred as a result of the fire. The rapper has issued a statement after the fire, expressing gratitude that his son escaped the fire.
