Leading motor company Volkswagen is going to launch its new 2010 VW Golf GTI in Paris Auto show scheduled to be held on October 2, 2008. The new car incorporates new EA888 four-cylinder 2.0 turbo engine which produces 210 horsepower of energy. The four-cylinder 2.0 turbo engine generates enough power which is delivered to the front wheels via either a standard six-speed manual or an optional six-speed double-clutch gearbox. The new 2010 VW Golf GTI also has an electronic differential called XDS. The electronic differential functions with the help of an enhanced electronic stability program installed within the car. According to company officials, the2010 VW Golf GTI can accelerate from standstill to 100km/h in 7.2 seconds. It is the fastest GTI with a top speed of 148mph. 
 
To fetch up more energy for the car a new powerplant has been installed in the car. With the adoption of this new powerplant output increases by 10 hp, to 210 hp, while torque remains 206 lb-ft. The new model of Volkswagen has specially tuned springs, dampers and anti-roll bars. Besides these, the car has the option of Adaptive Chassis Control (ACC) which comprises adjustable pneumatic dampers. The dashing new 2010 Golf GTI will be available in three- or five-door hatchback form.  The new version will be available in North American market in October 2009, about six months after the first European deliveries.
