Maruti Wagon R comes with two fuel options - petrol and CNG. The K-Series petrol engine comes equipped with a new generation DOHC with offset crankshaft. The K Series engine of Wagon R is leaner and fitter, with cable type gearshift mechanism for effortless gear shifting. For better performance and fuel economy, the engine is all aluminum and light weight. On the other hand, the CNG-driven engine of the car Intelligent Gas Port Injection System or I-GPI, which makes it powerful and fuel efficient.
