Sumo Grande is a multi-utility vehicle (MUV), launched by Tata Motors in 2008. The vehicle is a successor to Sumo, which was introduced in the Indian automobile industry in 1997. Under the hood of Tata Sumo Grande lies a powerful 2.2L DICOR (Direct Injection Common Rail) diesel engine that churns out a power of 120 PS @ 4000 rpm and maximum torque of 250 Nm @ 1500-3000 rpm. The engine delivers a good fuel economy, with a mileage of around 18 km/l.
