Porsche Cayman is powered by 2.7L 6-cylinder boxer engine, which pumps out a power of 245 bhp @ 6500 rpm, with a maximum torque of 273 Nm @ 4600-6000 rpm. It accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and is capable of reaching a top speed of 258 km/h. On the other hand, Cayman S is equipped with 3.4L 6-cylinder boxer engine, which generates a power of 295 bhp @ 6250 rpm and a torque of 340 Nm @ 4400-6000 rpm. It accelerates from rest to 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds and delivers a top speed of 275 km/h. The engine of the car is coupled with 6-speed manual transmission.
Design And Comfort
The aerodynamic design of Porsche Cayman is a real attention grabber. The visual appeal of its exteriors is enhanced by newly designed front and rear end. The frontage sports bi-xenon headlamps and large air intake ducts. A pair of light units integrated on the outer air intake duct looks very stylish. The car promises to provide a relaxing ride to the people riding in it, with options of standard seats, sports seats and sports bucket seats for its models.
Interiors
The low-seats, sweeping domed roof and expansive glass surfaces provide a luxurious and spacious cabin to Porsche Cayman. Variants, Price And Color
The two variants of Porsche Cayman include Cayman (base model) and Cayman S. Cayman is priced at Rs 49 lakh (approx), whereas Cayman S costs around Rs 56 lakh (approx). The coupe offers a wide choice of vibrant colors, which include solid, metallic and ‘special’ colors. The solid colors are Carrara White, Guards Red, Black and Speed Yellow. The metallic colors are Arctic Silver, Basalt Black, Cobalt Blue, Midnight Blue, Macadamia, Meteor Grey, Forest Green and Ruby Red, while Slate Grey Metallic, GT Silver Metallic, Atlas Grey Metallic, Dark Olive Metallic and Malachite Green Metallic are the special exteriors colors.
