The compact 4-gear, manual transmission, 4-stroke, water-cooled 800 cc SOCH engine of Maruti 800 produces a power of 37 bhp. With three two-valves-cylinders and four-stroke cycle, the piston displacement of the car is 796cc. The maximum output of the petrol-driven variant of Maruti 800 is 37 bhp at 5000 rpm, while that of LPG one is 35 bhp at 5000 rpm. The maximum torque of the petrol model is 59 Nm at 2500 rpm, while the LPG variant produces maximum torque of 56 Nm at 2500 rpm. The capacity of fuel tank is 28 liters.
Design And Comfort
Over the years, Maruti Suzuki 800 has undergone modifications in its looks. To make it more appealing, the car has been equipped with clear-lens multi-reflector headlights and striking indicators and Dual Tone interior (the new added feature). The grille opening of Maruti 800 is now a modernized trapezoid. With round indicators, tail lamps have been given a smoother look. Space has never been at premium when it comes to Maruti 800.
