French vehicle manufacturer Renault joined hands with Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (M&M) in 2005, to launch a mid-size sedan in India - by the name of Logan. The launch of this car was a part of Renault's strategy to establish its name in the highly competitive automobile business of India. Engine
The variants of Mahindra Renault Logan are powered by three different engines - 1.4L petrol engine, 1.6L petrol engine and 1.5L diesel engine. 1.4 liter and 1.6 liter petrol engines generate a power of 75 bhp and 84.5 bhp respectively, @ 5500 rpm. The 1.4 liter engine produces 110 Nm of torque @ 3000 rpm and the 1.6 liter engine delivers 128 Nm of torque at the same rpm. On the other hand, the 1.5-liter common rail diesel engine churns out a power of 65 bhp @ 4000 rpm and 160 Nm of torque @ 2000 rpm.

Design And Comfort
The exteriors of Mahindra Renault Logan are quiet impressive. Prominent wheel arches, smooth bodylines, sparkling headlights and trendy tail lamps cluster highlight the exteriors of the sedan. The front grille is adorned by the Renault badge. Although the car seems to be huge, it is very lightweight. The mid-size sedan offers a comfortable ride for five people.
