Tata Indigo CS was introduced in the Indian car market in 2008. The entry-level sedan is the world's shortest car within its class. Tata Indigo CS comes with three engine options - one for the petrol and two for the diesel variants. The petrol models of Indigo CS are powered by MPFI engine, which generates a power of 65 PS@5200 rpm with a maximum torque of 105 Nm@2600 rpm. The turbocharged engine with intercooler, found in its diesel models, pump out a power of 70 PS@4500 rpm and a peak torque of 135 Nm@2500 rpm. The 16-valve DOHC DiCOR engine, found in the LS DiCOR variant of Tata Indigo, delivers the maximum power of 70 PS@4000 rpm and a torque of 140 Nm@1800 rpm.

Design And Comfort
Tata Indigo CS gets classy chrome front grille and sparkling headlamps, which adorn the muscular front end of the car. In the rear end, the vehicle gets a trendy taillights cluster. The partial fabric-covered seats on Indigo CS offer a very relaxing ride to its occupants. Although the car is very compact within its class, it provides enough leg and head room for both front and rear seat passengers.

Interiors
The well appointed interiors of Tata Indigo CS get leather wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob.
