Tata Motors India Limited launched Indica V2 XETA in January 2006. It came as the refurbished version of Indica, the first indigenously designed passenger car, which was rolled out on Indian roads in 1998. The maximum power output for GL, GLE, GLS, GLG variants is 65.3 PS @ 5000-5200 rpm and the torque is 10.2 kgm @ 2600 rpm.

With a subtle C-pillar body, the new Tata Indica V2 XETA sports a smiling chrome front grille and eye-shaped headlamps. The body-build of this hatchback is a perfect fit for the Indian roads.
